Cross-Cultural Studies Review is a journal for comparative studies in culture, literature, and the arts. It specializes in cultural theory, comparative and cross-media topics, Slavic and East-Asian scholarship, with a focus on cultural transfers between the Balkans and the Korean Peninsula. It is published jointly by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, Croatia and the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, Korea.
CCSR welcomes scholars and graduate students in the arts, humanities and social sciences to submit essays, book reviews and conference reports on issues of cross-cultural studies, broadly defined. The language of the journal is English. All opinions expresses are those of the author(s), and not necessarily of the publisher or editors.
After an initial review by the editors, potentially publishable articles go through a blind-peer review process. All articles submitted to CCSR are understood as not having been previously published (in English). The author is responsible for obtaining any copyright permissions necessary for their text. The author is responsible for all financial obligations resulting from actions taken against CCSR due to an author’s contribution. CCSR reserves the right to republish the author’s contribution in reissues, webissues or anthologies. If an author republishes their contribution, they will acknowledge CCSR as its initial publisher.
